Lo so !Non è sportivo ! Rovina l'estetica! forse tocca il boma ecc... ecc...me ne dicono di tutti i colori quando dico che vorrei Bimini e sprayhood sul firstino . A parte un preventivo di 1750 circa euri di una ditta inglese non ho trovato immagini italiane di first con tendalini installati diversi dalle solite tele tra boma e draglie per un raffronto costi .
Ma io dico se esco con moglie e figli senza vento con il sole che picchia farebbe comodo un po' di ombra anche in navigazione.
Qualcuno di voi lo ha montato ?

senza vento e molto sole si può montare il tendalino anche in navigazione. Io ho sempre fatto così. Veloce da montare economico e direi comunque indispensabile in una barca. Il bimini per me in una barca così piccola, men che meno lo sprayhood, sono solo aggeggi ingombranti. Ho visto parecchi velisti abili con le mani, costruirsi da soli un bimini e con (relativa) poca spesa. Se hai tempo che ti avanza........

Io ho preso questo. In tre minuti lo monti. Ho il vang rigido quindi non mi serve amantiglio, sposto il boma di lato ed ho tutto il pozzetto libero e all'ombra. Il classico tendalino limita i movimenti, bisogna sempre stare piegati e la schiena non ringrazia.

Ciao Rob, se la cosa è solo per il periodo estivo ti consiglio un classico telo da maettere a capanna...se vai a motore...no problem.

Rob ci sarebbe un'altra possibilità...ovvero oltre la capanna mettere attaccato alle draglie ai lati del pozzetto altri due bei pezzi di tessuto per fare un'altra protezione....

Ho ben presente il tema, perché quando il sole picchia senza vento non ce n'è per nessuno.
Io ho risolto in due modi, a seconda delle situazioni: uno è un bell'ombrellone da spiaggia che mi apro in pozzetto. Se non hai un aspetto più che altero e raffinato la figura da tamarro è assicurata, ma ti assicuro che è una gran bella soluzione.
L'altro l'ho copiato da un HR42: teli leggeri tipo le sciarpette o i parei che usano le donne, attaccati al boma o alle sartie o a qualunque altra cosa utile. In questo caso l'efficacia è assicurata e l'effetto addirittura elegante.

Giusto posizionare fuori dalle scatole il boma....ma per stare in piedi ;)
Se devo rimanere coricato...allora la capanna va benissimo e costa pochissimo e la uso anche se piove o se c'è molto umido.

Discorso diverso la navigazione, nella quale è praticamente impossibile per noi piccolini rimanere all'ombra con una cosa guardabile.
Di soluzioni ce ne sarebbero altre,....ma abbiamo un 21 piedi ;)

Mi trovo molto meglio rispetto al classico tendalino che ormai monto solo quando piove oppure come "cagnaro" per riparare il pozzetto per le lunghe assenze.
L'ombrellone della blue performance ti permette di avere il pozzetto sgombro ed è ad una altezza tale da consentirti di non stare piegato. Regolando l'inclinazione con i tiranti puoi cercare l'ombra giusta.
Puoi utilizzarlo in navigazione a motore. Navigando a vela con il solo fiocco (la randa ovviamente deve restare di lato con il paranco agganciato al golfare dei rinvii spi), se poco vento non ti muovi e devi comunque usare il motore, si invece c'è un vento tale a farti muovere anche con il solo fiocco non lo monterei, ma in questo caso fa comunque fresco.
Delle tre dimensioni in vendita io ho preso la media, ma forse ci starebbe anche la large.

sarei tentato a prendere il large... effettivamente randa di lato fiocco e gennaker o solo fiocco se cì+ vento va bene..sacrifichi la randa ma stai da signore...

rimango così come sono almeno per questa estate dato che le altre soluzioni non sono alternative. la foto è di oggi.
Caso mai farò rinforzare gli anelli. LA mia è una tenda presa al mercato e da un tappezziere ho fatto fare dei rinforzi ai lati e al centro dopo aggancio la drizza randa.
Considerate che adesso è messa superficialmente. Dovrebbe essere posta nel modo opposto in cui si trova, in modo da coprire sino a poppa estrema...
